Literally, a day in the life.....

Okay, while I am waiting for Cameron to find out about his job, I thought that I would shed some light on our oh so exciting lives. On a day to day basis, I generally have nothing to talk about. I thought that I would let you all in on how a typical day in the Owen's house operates.

8:00-8:30 a.m.-Emma generally wakes up at about this time yelling "Maaaammmaaa." Que for me to get up.

8:30-10:00 a.m.-Emma makes a mess eating her cereal, and we have now watched 1 episode of Saved By the Bell, and The Price is Right. I know, I know, we watch too much t.v. Either that, or Emma watches a Baby Einstein (which I now can't stomach anymore), all the while I have read 7 or 8 books, played with our flannel board (which Emma LOVES), or let her bounce on the bed.

10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.-This is generally the time frame that we shower and attempt to do laundry or clean, eat lunch, hose down Emma after she eats lunch, pack her bag for day care, and get out the door.

12:30-10:45 p.m.-Work, oh lovely, lovely work. Enough said.

10:45 p.m.-12:00 a.m.- Sit and relax a little, and then go to bed.

So you see, days and days go by before anything exciting happens. I am sure everyone has a life like this to some extent, and I am also sure that it starts to get on your nerves sometimes. There are days that I feel like tearing my hair out. I guess I will have a change to my routine come early March, and it will be wonderful.

I am not sure that I have said anything, but I will find out what kind of parasite I have in my stomach on the 17th of October. I am excited, and I am hoping that the baby cooperates with the doctors. I am also hoping that if it is a boy, it is very obvious. I don't want to prepare for a girl and then be surprised later on. Hey, I know people who have had that happen. Hopefully I will also be able to get some of those ultrasound pics up on the blog for you all to view.

One last thing. I just thought that I would let everyone know that I love that new t.v. show Life. It is really good. It hasn't received the best ratings, but I think you should all watch an episode and tell me what you think.

Well on a final note, I hope that you enjoy the picture of Missouri, and get used to the idea that that may be our home soon. Thanks.
